All the Spiritual Knowledge, which people have today came from reading  PURANS, VEDAS  and other Spiritual Book, which was written  in different ERA, where Sanskrit was consider to be main Language. So All the Spiritual Books were written in Sanskrit.  “ LING ” , “LINGA” (लिङ्गं) or “LINGAM” all are  Sanskrit , word whose  meaning  is "mark", " sign ", "inference" .  What is SHIV LING  :- As per puran , Shiv Ling Meaning is Symbol of Shiv.  Who Is Shiv : - In religion, divinity is the state of things that are believed to come from a supernatural power or deity, such as a god, supreme being, creator deity, or spirits, and are therefore regarded as sacred and holy. So As per VEDAS and PURAM, SHIV is consider to be first SUPREME GOD or Spirit.  How Ling came into Existence  :- Once Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma are fighting for superiority. Then a long pillar of fire appear infront of them and challenge them to find start or end of pillar.

श्रीशिव और श्रीराम-नाम / Lord Shiva and Shriram-named Parvati :- Hindu Godess and wife of Shiv. Shiv :-     Hindu God, consider to be supreme. Lord Shiv has many Name. Mahadev ji is one of them. Once Parvatiji asked Mahadevji, 'What do you keep  chanting every single second.? Answer: Mahadevji was called Vishnu Sahasra nama(Lord Vishnu different names.) All people who are devotee of Lord Shiva, Vishnu, Follow Sanatana Dharma. They have other 36 crore other Lords. But Lord shiva and vishu are supreme.

  Maharishi Garg Agargas Today People do astrology study. By Study Astrology they came to know and predict all planetary and star motion . Today People believe that Astrology is discovered by European country. They have created all formulas for knowing the Planetary motion. But in India , It was discovered roughly 1700-1100 BC. Maharishi Garg is a famous monk sage of  Agargas Gotra. Rigveda 6.47 (The Oldest book for hindu), the Seer of the formula is God Garg. His famous ashram is specified in the Kurukshetra on the coast  of Deonadi Saraswati (River in India). He got the knowledge right here and wrote the astrological texts. Like the holy book, GargSyhita (Another Old book Name) Maharishi is the master of Astrology( Gargacharya ). He was the First who had written first Astrology book in world. Maharishi Garg was the supreme devotee of Shiva. These Maharajs are the Gurukas of the Shukla and the Yaduvanshi and the Kulpurohit. महर्षि गर्ग आङ्गिरस गोत्रक

                             महर्षि दुर्वासा महर्षि दुर्वासा अत्रिमुनिके पुत्ररूपमें भगवान् शंकरके अंशसे उत्पन्न हुए थे। अतः ये रुद्रावतार नामसे भी प्रसिद्ध हैं। प अपने परमाराध्य भगवान् शंकरमें इनकी विशेष भक्ति थी । ये भस्म एवं रुद्राक्ष धारण किया करते थे। इनका स्वभाव अत्यन्त ? उग्र था। यद्यपि उग्र स्वभावके कारण इनके शापसे सभी भयभीत रहते थे तथापि इनका क्रोध भी प्राणियोंके परम कल्याणके लिये ही होता रहा है। एक समय महर्षि दुर्वासा समस्त भूमण्डलका भ्रमण करते हुए पितृलोकमें जा पहुँचे । वे सर्वाङ्गमें भस्म रमाये एवं रुद्राक्ष धारण किये हुए थे । हृदयमें पराम्बा भगवती पार्वतीका ध्यान और मुखसे–‘जय पार्वती हर' का उच्चारण करते हुए कमण्डलु तथा त्रिशूल लिये दुर्वासामुनिने वहाँ अपने पितरोंका दर्शन किया। इसी समय उनके कानों में करुण-क्रन्दन सुनायी पड़ा। वे पापियोंके हाहाकारमय भीषण रुदनको सुनकर कुम्भीपाक, रौरव नरक आदि स्थानोंको देखनेके लिये दौड़ पड़े। वहाँ पहुँचकर उन्होंने वहाँके अधिकारियोंसे पूछा‘रक्षको ! यह करुण-क्रन्दन किनका है ? ये इतनी यातना क्यों

             मार्कण्डेयजीपर \ Markandeyji मार्कण्डेयजीपर श्रीभगवान् शंकरकी कृपा पहलेसे ही थी। पद्मपुराण उत्तरखण्डमें आया है कि इनके पिता मुनि मृकण्डने अपनी पत्नीके साथ घोर तपस्या करके भगवान् शिवको प्रसन्न किया था और उन्हींके वरदानसे मार्कण्डेयको पुत्ररूपमें पाया था। भगवान् शंकरने उसे सोलह वर्षकी ही आयु उस समय दी थी। अतः मार्कण्डेयकी आयुका सोलहवाँ वर्ष आरम्भ होनेपर मृकण्डु मुनिका हृदय शोकसे भर गया। पिताजीको उदास देखकर जब मार्कण्डेयने उदासीका कारण पूछा, तब मृकण्डने कहा–'बेटा ! भगवान् शंकरने तुम्हें सोलह वर्षकी ही आयु दी है, उसकी समाप्तिका समय समीप आ पहुँचा है, इसीसे मुझे शोक हो रहा है।' इसपर मार्कण्डेयने कहा-'पिताजी ! आप शोक न करें। मैं भगवान् शंकरको प्रसन्न करके ऐसा यत्न करूंगा कि मेरी मृत्यु हो ही नहीं। तदनन्तर माता-पिताकी आज्ञा लेकर मार्कण्डेयजी दक्षिण समुद्रके तटपर चले गये और वहाँ विधिपूर्वक शिवलिङ्गकी स्थापना करके आराधना करने लगे। समयपर 'काल' आ पहुँचा। मार्कण्डेयजीने कालसे कहा-'मैं शिवजीका मृत्युञ्जय-स्तोत्रसे
